Benjamin Parker (with his twin sister Rebecca)

Joel Young:   Creator of the "Lake Norman Hilton", this Rowan County, NC resident has spent many a morning with me watching the sun rise and the ducks fall.  His ability to produce leaks in seemingly fine waders is unprecedented. Whether it's huffing after me through a beaver swamp or dragging through a Kansas sunflower field in chase of roosters, Joel  is one hunting buddy that will never let you down!

Buz Ryland:  This former NC resident who now resides in Virginia is a bonifide duck hunter and retriever lover who loves the sport of waterfowling as much as I do.  Always wanting to have the latest "toy", Buz jumps at the chance to buy the latest in waterfowling paraphernalia.  Fortunately, his wonderful wife Karen is usually there to "rein" him in when Buz gets that "I must have that duck print" look in his eye.

John Brotherton:  My latest "trainee", John has learned quickly and has developed into a pretty good waterfowler.  A lifelong resident of Iredell County, NC, John is ready to make the 2000-2001 duck season his "break-out" season.  If he will continue to absorb my "expertise", he may just make it after all.  John has also partnered with me as my force-fetching trainer here at Back Creek Kennel.

Scott Hoard:  This lifelong Kansas resident (and charter member of Pinky's Bar and Grill)  happens to be my personal waterfowl and rooster guide during my annual hunting crusade to the mid-west.  Scott does not know how fortunate he is that I don't live any closer to him than I do.  Because if I did, I would bug him relentlessly to go hunting.

Steve Waugh:  Originator of the now infamous "otter slide", Steve has seen it all when it comes to hunting.  Always willing to gamble, Steve has the innate ability to take 2 wheel drive vehicles where none have ever gone before. Getting them out of these places is where Steve has no equal.  Initially inspired by Sir Deacon of Norman, Steve has been a participant of many of my mid-west jaunts as well as dove, duck and goose hunts.  His current aspiration is to attain my hard-earned title of the "Cock Master".

Bryan "Juan" Clodfelter:  This Benelli toting' chicken chaser is also one of my mid-west hunting companions.  With his trusty dog "Spike" at his side, Bryan is always been the first one to hit the field and the last one to leave.  Never one to miss a chance to "pop a cap", Bryan is also a regular at the annual dove hunt held adjacent to my home (that is when he can remember to bring his plug!).  Now happily married to his lovely wife Tammy, Bryan's days afield have become much more predictable since he became a "family man".  We fully expect to see even less of "Juan" when that future little Clodfelter comes poppin' out!
