Scooter is a 55 lb. dynamo of a retriever.  In addition, Scooter has an excellent disposition, conformation, and loads of pure natural talent.  Scooter makes all her retrieves as if it were her last; she goes out hard and comes back fast.  She loves the water, and is relentless in chasing down crippled fowl, even if it means diving completely under water to retrieve a crippled duck or goose!  She excels on all types of game, and has traveled to several States in her young career to retrieve, dove, quail, pheasant, duck, geese, and swan.  Don't let her small stature fool you, Scooter is perfectly capable of handling the largest of waterfowl and does so with confidence usually found in much larger dogs.  Scooter also comes from outstanding parentage (see pedigree below) that will compare favorably with many of the top field trial dogs running today.  One of Scooter's littermates (NFTCH Carronade's O'Rylee Factor) won the 2003 Canadian National Open Retriever Championship and her mother was the 1998 Canadian National Open Retriever Champion.

Obviously with the talent and bloodline that Scooter has, you might expect her puppies to be in high demand, and they are.  Unfortunately, "female" reproductive problems have, up until now, made it impossible to get Scooter bred.  Recently, however, discussions with a canine reproductive specialist has offered some hope that we may finally be able to get that litter from her that everyone has been hoping for.  As it stands right now, a final try at breeding Scooter may be attempted the summer of 2008, and with lots of luck, we might have some Scooter puppies on the ground before the end of the year!  Stay tuned!
