Reba arrived at Back Creek Kennel in the Spring of 2018, the product of a breeding between Nicki and Tybee. From the get-go, Reba was a very precocious puppy, and that hasn’t changed a bit as she got older. Reba might be small in stature, but she is loaded with retrieving desire and prey drive and will relentlessly scour the field for game birds. On Reba’s first out-of-state hunting trip to ND in October 2019, she did an outstanding job of hunting pheasants, staying well within gun range, checking back often on hunter location, and marking fallen birds. Since that first trip to ND, she has become one of my “go to” dogs on upland game. Reba has become another in a long line of Back Creek Boykins who have excelled in the field. Stay tuned for more info on her adventures and future breeding plans!
